I knew it was only a matter of time. I haven't been myself since the wedding. Everything's wrong. General Hammond retired, Teal'c's back on Chulak, the Goa'uld have gone, so has Daniel, Sam's married...

I go to her lab. One last time.

I look into her eyes.

She knows how much she hurt me. I told her, the night before her wedding, that I loved her. I still do.

"I'll miss you," I say. She nods, there are tears in her eyes. I turn round and leave her standing there.

A single tear rolls down my cheek.
