Alisa
sat in the driver's seat, eating her donut of victory, right hand
on the wheel, eyes on the road and left hand holding her food. kally
was looking at her intently, noticing bags forming under her eyes.
"did you...have that dream again?" kally asked in a small,
soft voice. "Yeah... I did" alias replied in the same tone,
frowning. "maybe we should call this trip off..." kally
whispered to herself looking down, hands on her lap picking at one of
her nails, her brown wavy hair falling in front of her
shoulders.
"No, we're not calling anything off. We've
waited to long for this and I'm not letting two years of research
go to waste." Alisa said, turning her head at kally briefly
smiling at her to make her feel a little more comfortable. Kally
smiled back, feeling more like herself again and watched the world go
by them as they drove.
it was getting late and Alisa was drifting off, she didn't feel much like getting into a car accident so she turned to wake kally pushing her arm gently. "Kally...kally wake up, your turn to take over." "hmm...harr...wha?" kally opened her eyes slightly, rubbing them. She looked back up quickly seeing something, eyes widen with shock. "ALISA LOOK OUT!" she shouted, pointing at the window in front of them. Alisa looked up and quickly grabbed the wheel griping it firmly and slamming on the breaks trying to avoid the figure.
The car turned too much on to its right side, wheels loosing grip off the road. Alisa tried to turn the car but it was too late and it flipped over on to its side, sparks flying, the smashing sound of a light and Kally's scream was all she could re-call before she blacked out.
