I just sat under the usual tree, the apple tree. I was waiting for Vial to come, but I don't know if he'll show. I sighed, and thought is really going to come? I was worried, but anticipated as well; I had to admit how I really felt about him.

Suddenly, my cell phone started to ring; it was he, Axel Vial. I picked it up, jiggling to phone in my hands.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Axel, where are you?"

"Oh, don't worry. I'm closer then you think."

His voice was rough, but he was right. I could hear it even though my phone was closed. I could hear grass crunching and breathing; I looked behind me, and there he was; smiling at me.

"Hey, Axrenes, you wanted to talk?"

He sat down beside me, and sighed.

"Is there something wrong, Axel?"

"Well, I wanted to talk to."

"I'll let you go first."

He looked at me confused but said "Um, ok then. Look,"

He looked into my eyes, yet I began to lose myself in his blue green eyes.

"You've been ignoring me at school, and when I have tried to call you, you never picked up. In the halls, you never say hi, or sit with me at lunch. What's wrong? It's like I'm, I'm invisible."

I started to go red, and my eyes started to tear up a little. I tried not to, but now I felt bad. Damn, I thought why did I do that?

Axel put his hand under my chin and raised it up so I was looking at him, with my eyes watering. He looked softly into my eyes, and put his hand down. Then, his face was going red, and he looked away, covering his face.

"Dammit!" he mumbled, blushing more. "I'm so sorry!"

I was confused, why would he be sorry? I wiped the tears and took his hands away from his face.

"Look, Axel, the reason why I called you here was to admit something,"

"Like what?"

"Well, umm, I-I don't k-know how t-to say it."

"Just be straight up about it. You know me, I can go with the flow."

He grinned, and I adored his gorgeous smile, his eyes, and porcelain skin. Everything, he was just, just perfect. But, I looked down to the grass, looking at my black converse sneakers.

"Let's say, what if, I had feelings for you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, like, love. What if I was in love with you?"

His face went completely red, as he began to look down. Suddenly, it started to rain when I began to get up from sitting. All was quiet, and only the sprinkling rain was heard. I began to walk away, when Axel, suddenly, wrapped his arms around me. His head lay on my shoulder and I could feel his soft, crimson red hair.

"There's no need to walk away from me, Axrenes," he whispered in my ear, and shivers ran through my body. Then, he let go of me and turned me around, to make him face me.

"Love is here."

Suddenly, he pressed his lips softly onto mine. It was full of passion, and my heart raced. I closed my eyes, as he pulled me closer to him. Then, he parted out lips, yet they were still touching. He told me "You're always that girl I talk about. You make me go crazy, you're always on my mind. We have shared memories I wouldn't trade for the world. You're the drug I cannot quit. I..I" he started to kiss me more, with tears rolling down my cheeks. Is this what love feels like?

He stopped kissing me, and strayed his lips to my ear and whispered, "I love you, Axrenes."

Then, he took his hands and pulled my face gently to his, and kissed me more. Kissing in the rain is what it is called.
