Welcome to the Caribbean, Love!

By A.C.Jones

Big blue has so many tales,

Ultra marine waves splash against the hull,

Treasure only a few days away.

Whistling winds engulf the canvas and men

Hoarding the sailors souls to heavens,

Yet their work proves that of Davy Jones.

I set my sights for adventure and a treasure

Second thoughts are out of the question.

This is the life I've chosen

Hearing the waves lapping the ship,

Earning my pay, the pirate way, that's the life fer me.

Rum in the deck below

Using the liquid to dull my fears

Mulling over my dole.

Gallivanting around and having my way

On the ocean is where I belong

Never will I ask this question of myself again as the

Evening takes its toll on day.
