Wextown Adventures: An AC Fic
Chapter 1 –
It was a rainy day in Wextown... everybody was gloomy. A stranger came through the town square. He had come from the train and he was soaking wet and angry. Just as he opened the door to one of four houses that seemed to be abandoned a dark brownish figure came speeding up. It was Tom Nook the racoon. The neighborly scam-artist.
"Ciao, maggio I il più intrest voi in una di queste case?" said Nook eagerly. The mysterious stranger slapped Nook hard across the face...
"Thanks for that, I've been stuck like that for weeks. What I was trying to ask you if you're interested in buying a disgusting rat hole... Erm, I mean house? I own these little beauties. Just then a piece of shingle slid down from the roof of the house the stranger had tried to enter and landed on Nook's head. He fell over, unconscious, with a huge gash right on his forehead.
"Good Riddance." said the starnger.He then entered the house... All that was inside was an old radio, a box and a notebook with the date of 1897 written on its cover. Roaches were everywhere
"Oh, geez... Doesn't that raccoon thing ever clean?" As He lifted the box he almost threw up. There was at least 50 roaches underneath it eating rotten cheese... "Clean-up time." He reached inside his bag and pulled out a big leather boot (at least 5 sizes higher than the stranger.) Along it the word "Equalizer" was written. The strangers pulled it on and SQUISH! "Roach problem gone." Said the stranger as he made a list of things needed fixed...As weird as it sounds the rain stopped after the roaches were gone. Just then there was a Knock on the door. The stranger opened the door and there stood a big blue elephant.
"Hello there sir," he said "My name is Axel. I see you've just moved into this lovely house so I brought you this gift basket full of delicious chocolate covered bugs! May I ask for your name please?" The stranger looked puzzled at Axel.
"Uhhh, My name is Jeremy." He flinched at the site of the bugs. One of the legs was twitching..."You can keep those bugs." All of a sudden axel started to cry his eyes out. Jeremy slammed the door hoping that Axel would leave so he could explore the town and stuff... The crying went on for at least 3 hours... When it came to 5 o' Clock in the afternoon Jeremy decided he would search around the town for a job. He exited his house. Nook and Axel were both gone... He headed up to the Train Station to take a look at the map...
The map was ripped in several places and was very dirty. There was a line that pointed toa place that looked like a shop in thenorth-west part of town. It had the words: t3h $$ is h33r3! written at the other end of the line. "These people are all idiots" said Jeremy to himself with a huge sigh as he headed of to the shop-looking place.
