Relatively Speaking

Once upon a time Land and Sky were the best of friends.

Then one day Sky made Land upset.

Sky tried to understand Land and why he was angry

But Land just pushed Sky further and further away.

So Sky left far into the stars intent on never coming back.

-

Because of this Land was always surrounded by darkness.

No sun, no stars, no moon.

No Sky.

And so Land wept without tears

Mourning the loss of his dearest friend.

-

Many years passed.

Land without much else to do waited

Hoping one day Sky would return.

Sky without much else to do

Wished for Land to hold him close and steadfast again.

-

Many more years passed for the both of them.

One day

Sky being the impulsive being that he is

Raced back to Land without another thought.

Except wanting his best friend back.

-

Coming back wasn't so easy though.

What do you say after so many many years?

So Sky decided he would let Land make the first move

But left a hint of his return with a single bright star in the night.

-

Land saw the star immediately

But was very confused.

If Sky was back

Then just where was he?

-

With each night another star formed.

Each morning for just a little while

The sun began to rise more and more.

Land finally screamed out for Sky with all his might.

And suddenly there was light and Sky was there.

-

Sky cried to be reunited with Land.

Land held Sky to him

And kept him close.

-

They laughed like they used to.

Land joked how Sky was still a baby.

Sky teased the Land was now an old man.

-

Both were just glad that the other was with them again.

If anyone can guess which subject of highschool this is based for then you will get any kind of story you want from me and a digital cookie. I'll give you all a hint: It's higher level physics. Happy guessing!
