High School Musical 2: The Songbird
A/N: This story has been sitting in my notebook for a long time and now it is time for it to be shared with the world!
Summary- Tabitha Givani is a new student at East High. She reunites with an old friend, makes some new ones, falls in love, and experiences drama. What did you expect? It's high school!
Disclaimer: Not mine...darn it! Oh well, Disney owns them and whoever else I can't remember. Bottom line, they own this not me! Except for the plot, Tabitha and Claudia, everything else is not mine! So THERE!
Chapter 1
Tabitha's stomach was in knots as she looked at her new school. East High School had a beautiful building but what concerned her was what was behind those double doors. She looked at her older sister and guardian, Claudia, who was standing next to her.
"Claudie, I don't think I can do this again. What if he finds us again?" Claudia smiled and took my hand.
"Songbird, you will do fine. As for him...he's not going to find us here. Last we heard he was in New York." Claudia said as they walked into the new school. Tabitha smiled at the nickname only her sister was allowed to call her. They found the office rather easily, thanks to a big sign hanging above the door that said "Office". They gave their name to the secretary and the secretary waved them into the principal's office. He was a rather short Oriental man with glasses.
"Ahh! You must be Tabitha Givani. I am Principal Matsui Welcome to East High." He smiled as he shook her hand and then Claudia's hand. As we sat down, he handed her some papers and a small book..
"This is your class schedule, lunch menu, and your assignment book. Now, Ms. Givani, you will need to fill out some papers for your sister as she is not 18 yet" As Mr. Matsui and Claudia talked, Tabitha got a look at her schedule. According to this, she had some woman named Ms. Darbus for homeroom and drama. She wondered what that would be like. She loved to act and perform. Well, in her group of friends, she does, she couldn't stand doing it solo. She was jerked out of her thoughts when Claudia stood up.
"Alright, it's time for homeroom, and then, lunch. I will show you where you're new classroom is." Mr Matsui beckoned Claudia and Tabitha out the door. Claudia and Mr. Matsui chatted quietly as they walked toward the classroom. They reached the door and Claudia hugged Tabitha.
"Claudie, I'm scared." Tabitha said as she clung to her sister.
"Songbird, I promise you, you will do fine. Now go. Just be yourself." Claudia kissed Tabitha's head and gently pushed her toward the classroom door. As Tabitha prepared to enter, Mr. Matsui told her.
"I hope you will enjoy your time here, Miss Givani. Remember, my door is always open." She nodded at her new prinicipal and walked into the classroom with her head down.
