It was the beginning of a starry night as young girl about the age of 10
sneaks out of her home, and walks to a vacant street. Her purple hair
shines in the light of the fading sunlight.
She was holding a small paper bag in her arms. She walks up to an old abandoned barn. He pushes the door open a crack, and slips in.
The floor of the barn was covered in little bits of hay. Lying in the middle of the room on top of a small lump of old clothing was a baby foal.
The little girl sat beside the foal and pulled out a bright shining apple and handed it to it. She smiled as she told the foal all about her day. The foal looked at her as if her understood every word.
She stopped talking and looked deep into the foal's eyes and asked herself, "Why can't I talk to my peers the was I talk to this foal" the foal looked back into her eyes.
At that moment a woman busted though the barn doors. She looked at the girl and screamed, "Carol! Hear you are you had me worried sick!"
The girl looked at the woman and said, "Momma? What are you doing hear?" the woman ran over and picked her up and gave her a big hug and said, "Don't you ever do that to me again you hear me? Your Grandmother and I been looking all over for you"
Carol looked at her mother with watery eyes and said, "I'm sorry momma, but…" Before she finished her mother walked to the door with carol still in her arms and said, "That's it we are moving far away from this place"
Carol looked over her mother's shoulder as she was leaving the door. She looked back at the foal and with a tear running down her cheek she said to it "G…Goodbye Cloud"

The entire student body was rushing into a school.
An old blue mini van pulls up the driveway to the school. A purple hard young lady opens the door and walks out.
"Carol have fun at school today?" asked her mother. Carol looked at her as she got out of the car and said. "I will try"
She stared at the sky. She saw what looked like a flying horse in the clouds. She blinked and rubbed her eyes and looked at the sky there was nothing but clouds. She thought she was seeing things.
She slowly started walking to the building. She thought to herself, "I hope I make some new friends at this school…it will be the 3rd school I ever went to"
Someone pulled her out of her deep thought by bumping into her. The girl who bumped into her said, "I'm so sorry! Are you ok? You new hear aren't you? My name is Serena. Eeekk! I'm late fore class…talk to you later"
Carol blinked as she watched the girl run into the school and then she walked in.
She walked till she was out side of a classroom. The teacher must have seen her though the window on the door. Because she announced to the class "we have a new student joining us today…" the teacher picked up a piece of paper and continued talking "her name is 'Carol Gipson'"
Carol opened the door and slowly walked into the room. She felt as if the other students were judging her. She looked around the room in hope to see a friendly face.
The teacher must have synced her discomfort and said, "why don't you sit over by Serena" she pointed to the same girl who bumped into earlier that morning.
Carol nodded as she went to sit over to sit to the empty seat next to Serena. Serena leaned over to carol and said "I'm still sorry about what happed" Carol nodded.
