Today is the day when Vongola Family obtains a new leader. Tsuna is of course, nervous. And what makes him more and more nervous is his father. He hasn't show his silly laugh ever since they arrived in Italy. When Tsuna asked what's wrong, he just stared at him with sad face and put on a fake smile.
"You don't have time to worry about that, Dame Tsuna."
Reborn, not that he doesn't care, keeps on telling Tsuna to just concentrate on his speech later on.
But then, when the ceremony started, his father announced the shocking news.
"The next leader of Vongola Family... will not be my son..."
All Mafia that attend the ceremony shocked so much; they cannot even say a word. It was complete silence. Until, of course, Gokudera shouts angrily, demanding a reason why his Boss won't be the leader. That position has been promised to him since last year, heck, he was forced to accept it. And now, when he has agreed to be the leader, he said he won't be?
What the hell is going on?
"But my daughter, his twin sister... Sawada Kyoko."
The most shocked person at this is of course, Tsuna. But, the one who was first to respond is Ryohei.
"That is... EXTREMELY ABSURD!!! For God sake to the EXTREME, Kyoko is MY SISTER! Her name is Sasagawa Kyoko! This is an EXTREMELY NOT FUNNY joke!"
"I'm sorry, Onii-chan... Mother and father have told me the truth... the real Sasagawa Kyoko is... dead soon after she was born..."
Kyoko suddenly appeared from behind Iemitsu. She looks so sad, but she was smiling faintly, clearly to calm everyone down. This isn't easy for her, too.
Ryohei fell on his knees, murmuring "that's extremely impossible", but he recovered when Kyoko hugs him, crying, and telling him that he will always be her beloved brother.
"I'm sorry, Tsuna. The rule states that the first child is the one who will be the leader, but it's Kyoko. She's a girl, and... I couldn't. I couldn't bear thinking about her fighting enemies like Xanxus... I just... can't..."
Tsuna couldn't say anything to his father. The emotions deep inside his heart are forming a whirlpool. A lot of emotions mixed into one.
"I... I... May I be excused?"
Gokudera's sensitive ears are the only thing that can catch the sound of broken heart, hidden on his faint smile.
"Juudaime! Are you..."
Gokudera was about to touched his Boss's sholdier, when he realized something. Tsuna was on his hyper mode, flame on his forehead was more intense than usual.
That was the start of this story. The prologue that mark the starts of destruction in Vongola Family.
