Fire and Ice
He was fire and I ice. Complete opposites...Could either survive the other? An icecube melts in a fire, turns into water, which puts out that fire. So no, fire and ice do not work well together.
His heart was full of the warmth of a fire and mine was frozen solid. But when he smiled at me or touched my arm the warm butterflies thawed my heart just a bit. If he kept it up, I would be a puddle for him. I think I love him and I didn't even know that was possible for me. I was going to shut myself off from everything but he talked to me and made that idea fly away. Then we fought and I tried to bleed out the pain...Well he just wouldn't have any of that, "I love you, you cold bastard!"
It was no doubt that my coldness is dulling his fire. He is shutting off the world. Even me.I knew what had to be done.It is inevitable so I am ending my life hoping to save his heart. I love you Harry, this is NOT your fault. I'm sorry.
Love, Draco(your ice lover)
He ended his life then. They found his limp body the next morning next to the blood soaked suicide note. Harry was the only student the teachers let visit the body. He was crying while reading the note. Then he kissed Draco's cold lips. He sat there with their lips touching. It was as if he was draining the cold from Draco into his own body. Finally he pulled away and said, "Now I really am cold - but not because I didn't love you." He pulled out his wand and started crying roughly. Dumbledore who had a feeling something bad was going to happen, burst into the room just in time to hear Harry whisper "Avada Kedavra" and with a bright green light his body went lifeless. Dumbledore walked over and saw that Harry was now laying next to Draco and they were holding hands. He covered their cold bodies and knew they were now happily together in life's next great adventure.
