Chapter 1- Off to Hogwarts

Hermione strolled slowly up the platform, smiling and waving at her friends as the Hogwarts Express rumbled into the station, before searching wildly for her precious daughter, who she realised was nowhere to be seen. Ron was meant to be watching her, but she must've wandered off. Ron's parenting skills were pathetic at the best of times, and although her eleven year old daughter would probably be alright on her own for ten minutes, Hermione remembered how immature she was at that age, and there was no doubt that she must find her soon. Even if she only had enough time to say a quick goodbye and help Ginny with her case. A job her father should be doing, but Hermione tried not to dwell on her hatred for Ron.

''Ginny!'' she yelled, before spotting her talking to James Potter, Harry's son. She hurried over brusquely and put her hand on Ginny's flame red hair. ''Ginevra Molly Weasley, where on earth did you go?'' Ginny blushed as red as her hair with the use of her full name in front of her friend, whilst James tried not to laugh. ''my dad's over there aunt Hermione'' he said uncomfortably, ''he's talking to uncle Ron...''

She stormed off in the direction that James pointed her in, pretty much running to the two men before something caught her eye. A gorgeous figure leant against one of the brick pillars, and she slowly stared at him from his beautifully polished shoes all the way up past his long, lean legs and athletic looking, lightly toned body before reaching his face, his striking, dazzling, gorgeous face. That had an arrogant sneer seemingly glued to it as he winked at her and called mockingly ''like what you see, Granger?'' And Hermione instantly recognised his sneering face and arrogant demeanour as her past enemy, and death-eater, Draco Malfoy. And she flushed dramatically about him catching her checking him out. I mean sure, she wasn't doing anything wrong, they were both recently divorced, her from Ron, and him from Pansy Parkinson, but it was still so embarrassing for her to have been caught staring at her old arch-enemies beautiful body.

She rushed away to find Ginny, still blushing ferociously as she waved to her daughter who was already on the train, who waved and smiled half heartedly before turning back towards the handsome blonde boy who she was sat next to. She would recognise the platinum blonde hair of the Malfoy's anywhere, so that must be Draco's son Blaise. She grimaced unhappily at the thought of her daughter spending the train ride to Hogwarts with such an obviously unpleasant boy, if his family was anything to go by.

Speaking of said man Hermione looked around her, trying to catch a glimpse of him, even though everyone was now rapidly leaving the station, before his smooth voice interrupted her thoughts;

''So Granger, what did you think you were doing, Staring at me back there?''
