A/N: I have to post this up before I loss my guts. So, This is a drabble I wrote during my exam. Yeah, that's true that I had half an hour left aftering checking the paper twice, I suddenly got this scene in my mind so I tried to capture it, scribbling it on the question paper. I'm just starting to play Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and I'm still not very familiar with the characters yet I hope I had caught the feel of writing stories about them... This is nothing big, I know, but hope you would pay a quick read! :)
T o B e M e l t e d
It was sunset again.
I was sitting at the edge of the tower in Twilight Town as usual.
Xion, sitting next to me, seized the tip end of the Popsicle I handed to her and whispered 'Thanks' rather softly.
I wondered if I had the same expression as Xion's when Axel did the same to me.
Idly my eyes wandered from the sky-blue icestick to the vermilion retreating sun.
How I wished to see the vibrant flame of red again.
"Roxas," called Xion, pulling the edge of my cloak gently. I turned to her and she smiled mildly. " Your ice's melting."
I followed her gaze to the melting ice in my hand.
Gelatinous liquid slowly flew along the wooden stick to my fingers, feeling freezy cool.
" Yeah, maybe..." I whispered, rather to myself. I felt the questioning look of Xion but I silently ignored it. My eyes leveled at the melting ice which was held high by myself. Orange flames from the sun seemed like licking and melting it.
I realized my shield of ice would melt only when Axel was beside me.
