So this is just a brief poem about the Silk Spectre (Laurie Juspeczyk) I wrote in like five minutes, so I'm not sure how good it is. I hope you like it. I might add some more poems about her in the future, so once I add more, if you don't like a poem I encourage you to perhaps read another and see if the next is better. Anyhow, thank you for taking the time to read this. I don't own the Silk Spectre Laurie (Juspeczyk) or Watchmen.

I've know him so long

I've loved him so much

But it's hard to tell what's real anymore

Passion has been slipping away

Happiness fades

He's beyond me now

He's up in the clouds,

Not even my voice will pull him down

The world thinks he's such a hero

They rely on him,

Why can't I?

Was this all a waste of time?

He says he's immortal

He believes he's bigger than me,

It's craziness

He thinks he's so much better,

But he has no feelings inside

How can I love someone who doesn't remember how to love?

He doesn't try to love

He doesn't want to focus on me

Neutrons,

Electrons,

Anything is more interesting than me

This is why I've decided to run

I've decided to run far away,

Away is where I'm running today
