Here he is once again alone, baring the scars that love leaves behind. Scars that were left behind his beloved, Rebekah. He should have asked her to stay. He should have gone with her. He always picked something over her…. She was always placed second on his list.
A list he's starting to regret. Yes there is a war brewing again. A war that started because Rebekah and her brothers rolled into town once again. Yet she has long since departed when her aunt Dahlia was taken care off. He knows when the waters are calm a storm will come and call the wondering Mikaelson to return.
She will return to him… Marcel doesn't know why he continues to wait at home. He can join her in her adventures. Watch as she enjoys her limited time as a mortal. Maybe this could've been their chance to be together? Start a family they always wanted.
Sure the child wouldn't bare neither of their blood but they would be there since day one. They would take care of it… Marcel's mind spins with thoughts that could become a reality. Only if he ventures out. Yet he can't leave… He can't run from his home like she has for so many times.
