"I know you arent as mean as you make yourself out to be Marshall." Fionna stammered "You won't hurt anyone either, you're so haunted by thing you cant forget, you're angry, but you wont hurt us." Fionna drew her sword back and put her hands on Marshall's demon wings. "Please, talk to me." She watched as the wings disppeared and Marshall returned to his normal form. "Im sorry so Fionna", He quickly pulled her into a hug and squeezed her so she wouldnt speak. "Im sorry".
"Fionna! What the glob is going on!" Prince Bubblegum rushed out with Cake tailing behind. "Looks like Fi is getting her love on!" Cake snickered and Bubblegum scoffed at the remark "With that monster? Highly unlikely." Fiona pushed Marshall away and grabbed Bubblegum's collar to pull him down in front of her face. "Listen, you had your chance so dont get all PMSy because someone else is around and treats me better than you did. So get your royal rump back inside if you have a problem with it!" Despite the darkness of the evening Bubblegum could see the seriousness in her eyes. "Come on Cake, we need to go." They pushed passed Marshall and disappered into the darkness.
