Author's note: Tis is just some insano idea I had. I don't know where it's going to go from here, but I'll try to make it less corny than my other stories! lol

Ivy woke up later than usual. She rushed to get dressed, and suddenly she was wearing them. She figured she probably got dressed and then blanked out. She ran down the stairs. Everyone was already downstairs eating breakfast when she came into the dinning hall. Mrs. Thibault quickly fixed her a plate.

"Hurry up, child, you're going to be late for school," she said, trying to sound stern. However, this never worked. She was just too kind a woman to be strict with the children. She really was like a mother to most of them.

Ivy gobbled as much of her food as she could get before she heard the other children getting ready to go to school. She rushed to wash her plate, but Mrs. Thibault took it for her.

"Thanks," Ivy said, giving her a smile.

"Oh what good manners! I knew I had a little angel in there somewhere," she said, referring to what a tomboy Ivy was. "Have a nice day at school."

Ivy ran outside to just barely catch the bus.

"You're lucky you didn't miss the bus again. If you had been late one more time Mr. Green would be very angry," said her best friend Paris, as Ivy took the spot next to her.

Ivy watched her home fade away as the bus drove away. Not "home" exactly, but the closest thing to it that she's ever known. Ivy thought one more time about her parents. Wondering what they were like, what they looked like. But it was no use. She couldn't remember anything, and they were gone. They weren't coming back.

"HARRY!" screamed Petunia Dursley. "Come down here this instant!"

Harry looked at the clock next to his bed. It was six o'clock in the morning. What could she possibly need at six o'clock in the morning, Harry thought. He threw off his covers and climbed out of bed. He grabbed his glasses and headed downstairs. One more day he thought happily, only one more day of this, then I get to go back to school. Harry was surprised to find his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon standing at the bottom of the stairs holding a letter with emrald green lettering.

"What's that?" Harry asked, referring to the letter in his uncle's hand.

"This" he started, "this is the letter from the headmaster of that school of yours."

"What's it about?" Harry asked.

"Is this some kind of joke?" his aunt asked. "As if you didn't know! You're probably the one who planned this!"

"Planned what, exactly?" Harry asked them. His Uncle Vernon reluctantly handed him the letter. Harry opened it and quickly started reading before his uncle could change his mind and snatch it back. Harry's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what he saw. It was as if his prayers had been answered in a way that he hadn't even thought. I can't believe it, he thought, I have a sister!
