Disclaimer: I do not own The Outsiders or Superman, are we all agreed so I don't get sued?
To his younger brothers,
he was a father and mother.
In a car wreck his parents died,
his life changed sky high.
He could have worked his way threw school,
but sending his brothers to a boys home seemed cruel.
He started to turn cold,
to Pony he would scold.
Pony came in late,
Darry set his fate.
He hit him; his brother hit the door,
his heart hit the core.
The youngest brother ran away,
in his bed, awake he would lay.
'I didn't mean to' ran threw his head,
a hypocrite, for this many tears were shed.
Finally some good new,
he would no longer sing the blues.
His brother was back,
feeling he didn't lack.
Johnny Cade had died,
Pony's good grades now cried.
They had a huge fight,
the middle Curtis ran in fright.
To fight he promised no more,
could he keep it? Sure!
There was nothing he couldn't do,
he was superman, his heart flew.
