Confession
Author's note: Wait a sec, I think I'm pulling a contract out of my ass, oh never mind... Oh jeez how many times do I have to say I don't own Digimon? Well anyway, I was having writer's block so I just wrote this short fic.
WARNING: BISHONEN, YAOI, TAKOUJI fluffiness though.
Snow was falling at an exceptionally large rate, more than what Takuya had really expected. But he didn't care. He had just left his meeting with Kouji in the park. Kouji had said that he needed to speak with Takuya in private, and immediately.
Takuya had beaten his way through the snow in order to reach the park at the time he had set with Kouji. Takuya reached the ancient Cherry tree in the park but there was no sign of Kouji. The jerk was always expecting more of others than of himself. Takuya loved Kouji dearly but not only did Kouji hate Takuya, but he also expected the most out of Takuya. The cold wind that was whipping across Takuya's face, numbing his nose and making his lips dry.
"Jerk," Takuya muttered.
"Takuya, up here."
It was Kouji all right, but the tone of his voice was different. It sounded anxious and sad. Takuya then craned his neck upward to see Kouji perched comfortably in the tree's branches. The child of light jumped down from his seat in the tree, and stood to face the child of fire.
"Why did you call me here Kouji?"
"It's about us."
"What about us?"
"I.. I." Kouji hesitated.
"Spill it Kouji, I don't have all night."
"Iloveyou."
"What?"
A red tinge appeared in Kouji's cheeks and he looked away.
"I love you, I have for a long time. I just didn't know how I could tell you. I wanted to tell you now because I wanted this off my chest." Kouji said all this very fast.
"What about Izumi?"
"I never liked her."
"Oh."
There was a small moment of silence.
Kouji glanced at Takuya's expression for a moment, to his surprise it wasn't scared or shocked. The other boy looked calm and was wearing one of his famous lopsided grins.
"That's a relief, I thought this was going to have somethin' to do with Izumi."
"You're not freaked out or anything." Kouji spoke, wide eyed.
"Nope, because you know what?"
"What?"
Takuya leaned forward so that his lips were barely touching Kouji's ear.
"I've felt the same way for a while." He whispered.
Kouji smiled and wrapped his arms around Takuya's waist, bringing him into a warm embrace. The goggle head blushed furiously until he responded by wrapping his arms around the bandana boy's neck. Takuya rested his head in the crook of Kouji's neck, his hot breath keeping Kouji warm despite the cold weather. They stayed like this for a few moments until Takuya spoke.
"I'm glad you told me."
"Takuya?"
Takuya lifted his head to look at the boy above him. No words were spoken, instead Kouji leaned forward and took Takuya's lips in a soft kiss. The brunette softly responded and pulled Kouji closer. The cold no longer bothered them now, the heat from both their bodies was more than enough to keep them warm. Takuya moaned as Kouji pressed his tongue past complying lips. The feeling was strange and wonderful. Takuya finally came up for air and pulled away. He then rested his head on Kouji's chest and breathed in his wonderful scent. Kouji kissed the forehead of the boy in his arms and wrapped his arms around him tighter. He wanted to stay like this forever.
"I'd better go," Takuya finally said.
"Yeah."
Both boys let go of the hold they had on each other and went their separate ways.
Takuya had finally reached his home. He immediately stripped off his snow gear and rushed to his room. Images of Kouji swam through his head as he went to sleep that night.
