I sat there and wonder why my best friend actually listen to this woman and not our boss? The Chief tried to get him to go home and stay and he just wouldn't? Yet she gave him the order to leave and go home and he did just that. I know at one time they were good friends and partners yet he says he doesn't like her. What the hell is going on? That's when it hits me, my best friend Lt. Andy Flynn is in love with Capt. Sharon Raydor. What is the world coming to? I don't know and yet I'm afraid for all of Major Crimes and F.I.D. when these two have a lover's spat. - Lt. Provenza
Later on that evening:
"Sharon, what time is Selena's play?"
"It's at 8:30. Why?"
"Because it's 7:15 right now hun, and you're not ready."
"Well I would've been home sooner if it wasn't for your boss" stated Sharon a little harshly.
"Honey why don't you wear the little black dress with the gold chain belt."
"Andy, hello, Andrew Flynn can you zip me up please?" asked Sharon standing right in front of him.
"Sorry babe, I was lost in thought."
Zipping her up, he noticed that she wore the necklace he gave her the day that their daughter was born. That's when it hit him that he couldn't spend the rest of his life without her.
Hugging her from behind he said "Sharon, I love you so much."
Turning around in his arms and wrapping her arms around his neck, "Andy I love you!" Kissing him and moving backwards toward the bed they broke apart suddenly, because a cellphone decided to ring at that very moment.
"Flynn" said Andy very breathless.
"Hey want to swing by a catch the football game with me and the guys" said Provenza.
"I can't tonight. I have other plans."
"Like what sitting at home by yourself and watching the clock ticking by" said Provenza.
Finally fed up with his best friend, Andy said "No my daughter has a school play tonight and we're leaving in about ten mintues".
Oh shit thought Andy when he realize that he said we instead of I. Hanging up before Provenza could say anything else.
After the school play:
Laying in bed he decided to ask her the question that has been on his mind all evening. Getting up and out of bed and leaving the bedroom to go downstairs.
He return a couple minutes later standing by the window, he hear Sharon comes out of the bathroom.
"Andy, what's going on? You have acted strange all evening and it's beginning to worry me?" stated Sharon.
Looking at her worried face he decided that this was the moment to do it. Getting down on one knee and grabbing Sharon's left hand. "Sharon will you do me the honour of marrying me?"
"Yes, Yes of course I'll marry you" said a teary-eyed Sharon.
That night laying in bed with the woman in love the most in the whole world and knowing that he's finally getting his family in order. Not only is he getting a wife, but also 4 step-children, plus his two and their one together. Life couldn't get much better then this.
