Hey everyone. This story was written for Halloween Bingo Funfair Event on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I used the prompt 28 Werewolf!AU. I choose to use Lavender Brown for this prompt because it's never stated that she died in the books. So this is beginning of her story as being werewolf after the Battle of Hogwarts. I hope you all enjoy Lavender's Werewolf Tale.
The wolf bite never fully healed after the Battle of Hogwarts. Lavender looks at it every day to remind herself of what she is now. Not that she needs to look at it during the full moon. She sips sullenly at her Wolfsbane potion as she thinks about what he life has become. She can't help but wonder if this was how Professor Lupin felt when he was alive.
"Lav," comes Parvati voice from behind her in the kitchen, "are you alright?"
She looks over her raven haired grey eyed girlfriend and she feels pity for Parvati. Because of Lavender Parvati can't have the life she deserves to have. Because of Lavender Parvati has to take care of a dangerous creature.
"Lav," Parvati's voice is right behind her now and Lavender feels Parvati's arms snake around her waist, "you aren't thinking those thoughts again. You know I'd do anything for you."
"But you shouldn't have to live the sort of life you are because of me," Lavender told her. "You deserve someone better than me."
"Don't talk like that, Lav. I love you. Werewolf or no."
"I love you too but you deserve to be able to have friends visit without making sure I'm not going to turn into a wolf and attack someone." She sees Parvati about shake her head. "Don't disagree, Vati. You know I'm right."
"It doesn't matter."
"It does to me."
"We'll discuss this after the full moon," Parvati kisses Lavender gently on the lips. "But don't pretend that I can't handle taking care of you, Lavender. I can handle it."
"I know," Lavender tells Parvati kissing the other girl more passionately than Parvati's kiss had been. "We'll talk about it after I'm back from my full moon trip."
Lavender walked into the room that she usually used for her transformation days. Stopping at the door she waved at Parvati watching as a tear trickled down the cheek of her lover. Closing the door she can't help but let her thoughts drift towards the first time she went through the transformation. She remembers it had been painful. Closing her eyes she allows her memories to take her back in time before the pain hits her.
I hope you all enjoyed the beginning of Lavender's Werewolf Tale.
