"Inuyasha, I think I should warn you." Began a nervous Souta. "When Kagome came back she… She hit her head. Really hard. She woke up this morning and now she thinks you're her… boyfriend." Souta closed his eyes and waited for the worst, but it never came.
Inuyasha was shocked to say the least. He had found out what a boyfriend was a while ago, but… never in his dreams did he think that he would ever be in that kind of relationship with Kagome. Well, maybe in his dreams but he never thought they would come true. (FYI: Naraku, dead. Sacred Jewel, opens well and is gone forever. Kikyo, moved on to the land of the dead.)
Inuyasha watched with an unbelieving look on his face as Kagome pulled herself out of the well. She looked around as if it was her first time being here. 'Then again that's probably what she thinks.' As he stepped out into her range of sight her face lit up and she practically tackled him.
"I missed you so much Inu-kun! I love you." Kagome buried her face into Inuyasha's kimono. After a few minutes of shock Inuyasha returned her embrace. He lowered his head to her ear and said just above a whisper, "I love you to Kagome."
Kagome started giggling. Just as Inuyasha was about to ask her what she was laughing about she spoke. "I love being able to blackmail my family." She then kissed Inuyasha's cheek and skipped off to the village.
Inuyasha stood there dumbfounded. Kagome hadn't lost her memory, she just blackmailed her brother to act like she did. And it was all a hoax to get him to admit his feelings. Inuyasha smirked. 'Damn did that bitch get me good!'
