Luna

There was a mother wolf running through the foot of a mountain. Running as fast as she can, She
held a pup in her mouth. "I got to get her to somewhere safe" She thought to her self in her head. As
she looked behind she can see two wolves running behind her on the trail. "Give up while you still
can". One of the wolves shouted. You cannot run forever. By looking forward she could see a drop
off as she came to the corner of the edge of the forest. The drop off looked about fifteen feet into water.
And there was a sign near that said "Now entering jasper territory." She said to herself, "I know she
will be safe in jasper." She leaped into the water and on the other side she went into jasper
territory and hid into a bush. While at that moment two big stocky wolves came in the edge of the
forest. "Sir" I can smell her she was here, The gray wolf said. "She was here" The other wolf that was
Muscular and all Black with a scar on his face he got from the wolf running when he grabbed her and
she clawed him and ran away. "She will pay for what she did to my face!" The black wolf said in anger.
The gray wolf said she must of got into jasper territory. You know we are not welcome in that
territory. The Black Wolf said "So be it" And they both leaped into the water crossing there way into
the water on to the territory. At that moment the mother wolf and her cub knew they had to make a
run for it. As they got closer to the bush the mother wolf grabbed her pup and bolted out of that bush
shoveling up leave from her back feet causing the two wolves to be blind for a couple of seconds.
And then she ran off into the forest. "ARRRGHH" they said. Where is she? There she is as they saw
her disappear into a trail in the forest.
Meanwhile,
The mother and her pup went into a cave and the mother put her down. "Luna" She said, I may not
live to see tommorrow but i just wanted to tell you that i love you and i will always be with you. I
have broke a pack law and i will be killed for it. I want you to live a healthy and happy life. The pack
law i broke was running away. The pack treated me like i was a outcast and i finally came to the
point in my life where i wanted to run away and seeing as how im like a ghost in that pack. They said
either you die or i die and so i wanted to take you somewhere safe and i know jasper is a safe place
i heard a western pack is here and i know they will take you in. In this cave in the back there is a
little crack in the rocks where you can escape. It will lead you on the other side of the mountain the
western pack is about half a mile away. The pack leader Winston is a good hearted caring leader. He
will take you in. And i know you will remember the stuff i have trained you. "I love you" And you will i
promise you Luna i will always be with you. Luna said "Mother dont leave me". Lunas mother said
Luna i know this hard on you right now and i know you dont deserve this. But please Bare with me
here. I have seen how you are and i know you are strong and independent. I know you will do fine.
"At that moment they could hear the two wolves chasing them come closer and closer" Luna we do
not have time theres the crack i used to come to this cave when i was young now go. Luna said
Mom please we can work something out. Luna i said GO! Luna said okay as she choked on tears
and she ran through the crack while in there she hid behind a rock but could only see some of her
mother near the entrance of the cave. "Well look who it is" Said the two wolves "Where is she?" Said
the gray one. Lunas mother said somewhere safe where you cannot get her. The black wolf laughed
and looked back at her swinging his paw slashing three claw marks on her face as she fell to the
ground. "Let me ask again Where is she and the next time ill make it hurt". Lunas mother said "No"
"I swear if you hurt her" At that moment the black wolf said "Shut up" slashed his claws into her
throat she fell to the ground with blood coming out of her mouth looking at luna. She mumbled to her
"I love you" and then she passed on. Luna was in shock she wanted to scream in tears but she
could not because it would alert the wolves.
Lunas POV
"I just saw those wolves murder my mother in cold blood. They are gunna pay for this. I know there
names. The black one is named Shadow and the gray one is named Fin. They are going to pay for
this. I got to get out of here and get to the western pack."
Fin and Shadow where looking trying to search for her but could not find her, but they did see the
crack. But did not see anything Fin said to shadow "Sir, she must of went through here so she is
long gone by now least we got her mother, we can definatly come and get some members and come
back. Shadow said we are in jasper territory, we need to get out of here and they both ran out of the
cave into the forest.
Luna was hiding and when she heard them ran off she came out of the crack and there she saw her
mother laying there dead. "My mother just sacrificed herself to save me" she said to herself. She
started to get tears in her eyes as she looked into her mothers beautiful yellow eyes. She said
mother shadow and fin will die for what they did. I need to get out of here as she went back to the
crack she gave her mother one last look and said goodbye mother and she moved on.
It seemed like about five minutes running through parts of the mountain, until she came out and there she was in the western part of jasper. Okay this where she was telling
me.
Lunas POV
It was about night time i was getting tired i had to get sleep there was a tree stump that was tilted
over had some shelter so i will stay there for the night and ill be in this area for a couple of days i
want to test my skills with surviual and hunting, i will proof the western pack i am not weak. And Luna
went to the stump and fell asleep.
