We Both Know
Here is a story I posted a while ago just found it on my computer
Ziva wouldn't leave work, No she wouldn't she couldn't where would she go. She knew if she went back to her apartment she would just cry. Her Abba was dead, the last of her family. NO she hated this she couldn't deal with this. The pain she just wanted it all to go away she wanted to run from it, run away from it all. She couldn't though there was something holding her back. No one spoke in the bullpen. It was quiet, quieter then it ever has been. Gibbs sat at his desk going over some papers, McGee looked at his computer, but Tony he wasn't doing anything but staring at Ziva. He was worried about her she was stressing herself out. Gibbs said it was her choice to go home or stay and of course she stayed. Tony got up and walked over to Ziva's desk she was just staring into space. He bent down so the where eye level he reached for her hand, she looked at him. She didn't say anything to him but he could just see in her eyes she was screaming she wanted to just lose it but she couldn't.
"Ziva do you wanna go for a walk?" Tony asked hoping for a yes. Ziva nodded and Tony stood up then helped her out of her seat. Gibbs looked up and McGee did too. Tony gave them reassuring nod and he and Ziva walked out of the bullpen. They got into the elevator went outside and started walking in the cold air or winter but it was too cold and they both ended up in the cafeteria thank goodness it was empty right now.
"You don't have to talk Ziva just know I am here for you." Tony said pulling into a hug. She didn't push back she just fell apart and cried. Tony held her close."I am sorry." Tony said Ziva looked at him.
"You didn't do anything." Ziva said finally speaking but very softly she looked up at Tony's eyes.
"That's the problem Ziva I should have hugged you in that moment."
"Did...You...Find..." Ziva couldn't finish it. Tony nodded yes. He wiped away some of the tears that fell from her eyes. After a few moments of an awkward silence, Ziva looked at Tony again. "He accidentally saw the picture of me pregnant... and he asked what I wanted a girl or boy," Ziva honestly wasn't getting back to herself but she was talking that's what counted.
"What did you say?" Tony asked actually very interested in what Miss David wanted in life.
"I said that I wanted a little girl." She said.
"Girls are good." Tony said smiling "I would have named her Tali." Ziva said tears formed more in her red eyes. Tony just took her into another hug.
"One day we will have that." He said without even noticing, he hoped Ziva didn't actually listen to that part he just held her close. It was what she needed right now. Truth was she did hear that exactly and it might just be what she wants.
A/N- Okay I cried after this episode it was so sad I can't believe they killed off 2 characters.
