Not sure where this one came from, but I rather like it.
Six Months Ago
Six months ago, Helen Magnus witnessed the death of Nikola Tesla at the hands of a rage-filled abnormal. Said abnormal promptly dragged the corpse into the night. It took three weeks to hunt down and kill the beast, and when they finally did, they found a lair, filled with the bones of a dozen men it had killed, one of them, presumably, was Nikola.
So you can imagine her shock when she opens her bedroom door to find none other than Nikola Tesla.
"Nikola?" she gaped, her eyes as wide as her mouth.
"Good morning, Helen," he replied with a smile.
"I… I watched you die," she said, trying to understand how this was possible. Was this a dream?
Nikola shrugged. "What's an accidental death among friends?"
Helen just stared at him in shock. How was this possible?
"It would seem," he said, tracing her jaw with his index finger. "That I am not so mortal as I once believed. I'm no vampire, mind you, but-"
Nikola Tesla did not appreciate being cut off, under normal circumstances, but these were not normal circumstances, and he found that he rather liked not talking, when Helen Magnus' lips were pressed into his.
