Sarah Vida and Christopher Ravena were seated next to each other on a plane going to Hawaii. Sarah was wearing a dandelion yellow tank top with cream jeans and Christopher a white t-shirt with black jeans. They were no ordinary passengers though. Christopher was a vampire and Sarah was a vampire-hunting witch.

Sarah remembered as clear as Hawaiian waters her first day of high school and meeting Christopher for the first time. He had black hair and eyes to match. Between classes he would slip poems or pictures he drew in her locker. Sarah could not resist his charm, even though her mother would take away her magic if she found out. It was a big no, no in Vida law to befriend a vampire. Sarah knew he only fed on willing pray and was not the dangerous monster her mother thought he was. When her mother found out; Sarah had to run away before her mother took her magic from her. The Vida line of witches was almost as strong as vampires, physically. She had made to many enemies in her life and without her magic she would surely be killed, so she went to the safest place she knew, Christopher's. Ever since they have been together.

The pilot suddenly announced, "Welcome to Hawaii and thank you for flying with…"

Christopher and Sarah grabbed their bags out of the overhead bins and started to leave the plane.

When getting off the plane a picture perfect view was revealed to them. There was a brilliant blue sky with birds flying in the distance. The beach to the left of her had powder soft sand and crystal clear waves of water. Farther in the distance were palm trees ten times taller then her, swaying in the wind. Sarah felt so free at the moment, she could fly away just like those birds.

While checking into their hotel Sarah sensed vampire auras oozing from somewhere on the second story. There must be a vampire bash going on. Vampires would be partying and feeding for hours. I wonder if they're hurting humans or not. She had broken a lot of Vida laws but she still had vampire-hunting blood in her veins. A witch's work never ends.

"Christopher I have something I need to do. Can you please give me a spare room key?"

"Sure", he said while handing her the spare key and knowing exactly what she was up to. He didn't like the fact she might get hurt, but he knew what she was.

Sarah made her way up stairs and followed the auras to room 525 and knocked on the cherry oak door. She shielded her aura, so she would appear to be an ordinary human. A man with dark Hawaiian skin and black evil eyes answered the door. He was a very strong vampire maybe seven or eight hundred years old. She had vaguely heard of him. His name is Julius and could easily be the strongest vampire on the island.

"What do you want?" He said.

"Wrong room, sorry", She said while giving a cute smile and looking like an innocent girl.

She started to head back to her room while thinking about what to do next. How am I ever going to defeat someone so strong?
