"Ha-ru-mi!"

"Gah! Get off of me, Akane!"

Akane glomped her irritated best friend, Harumi. "What's wrong, Harumi?" she asked innocently.

"I keep on bugging me! Get off!" Harumi yelled. She punched her in the stomach hard enough to release herself from the hug.

"You don't have to be so mean. After all the time it took me to come over," Akane pouted.

"First of all, no one told you to come over and second, your house is across the street," Harumi said.

"But it took a minute. A whole minute! Can you believe it?!" Akane yelled.

"I can drop kick you out the window and you'll be there in seconds, how about that?" Harumi said. Akane backed away from her friend, knowing full well she would do it. "Anyway, why are you here?"

Akane stood up with and started laughing. "I'm glad you asked! I got this cool new game imported from Japan for Christmas and I want to play it with you!" she said. She took out a small case from her pocket and handed it to Harumi.

"Junjo Romantica? What's this about?" she asked. Both Akane and Harumi were of Japanese decent, but only Akane was into the culture. Even though Harumi was the smarter of the two, she still had a lot to learn and if she had to learn from her hyperactive neighbor, that's never a good thing.

"It's a game about two men in love. It's a dating sim, can't you tell by the cover?" Akane said. Harumi looked at the cover more closely and saw two men hugging, one smirking and the other looking embarrassed.

"Why the hell would you buy this?!" Harumi yelled.

"It's interesting, don't you think?" Akane giggled.

"Two men in love is disgusting!"

"I know you don't mean that. You're just saying that because Michael began dating Ken the other day."

Harumi looked at the other girl, blushing and furious. Michael was a boy in their class that she had a crush on for the longest time. The day she was going to confess was the day he came out. It broke her stone heart and Akane loved bringing this up.

"I hit a nerve, didn't I?"

"Oh yeah."

"So why don't we play this to take your mind off it?" Akane asked hopefully.

Harumi glared at the otaku. "You're not going to leave if I say no, are you?" she asked. Akane shook her head. "Fine. This game better be fast," she sighed.

"I knew you'd cave in. Now let's play!"
