Chapter 1
One night Lorelai gets home late from work and sees Finn's car in the driveway and smiles and goes inside the house and goes over to Rory's closed bedroom door and knocks on it softly and opens it.
''hey.'' she says
''hey.'' he says
''she just fall asleep?'' Lorelai asks him
''um a little while ago yea.'' he tells her
''okay you coming to bed?'' she asks him
''yea.'' he says
''okay meet you upstairs.'' she says and smiles
''yea I'll be up in a little bit.'' he tells her still stroking his niece's head softly making sure she stays asleep
Lorelai closes the door and goes upstairs and changes into her pajama's and crawls into bed.
a little while later Finn comes up and is getting into just his boxers.
''hey so are are we going to explain this to Lauren?'' he asks her
''explain what?'' she questions him
''you her grandmother dating me her uncle basically she knows me by Uncle Finn?'' he asks her
''she's 3 I don't think she really understand's right now but she will when she gets old enough to know.'' Lorelai tells him
''plus it's not like we are sleeping sleeping together we are just sleeping in the same bed together. We havn't actucally had sex yet.'' she tells him
''I know that and I'm not really living living here I'm only here a few days a week.'' he says
''I know and I don't really think of us as grandma and uncle.'' she tells him
''I think of us more like mom and dad we have taken her in and have taken care of her and have basically been raising her since she was a baby and Rory and Logan are never here to take care of her so I think that we should adopt her and be mom and dad to her what do you think?'' she asks him
''your serious?'' he asks her
''as a heart attack.'' she says
Finn smiles ''alright I guess we can do that.'' he says
''good.'' she says
''yea.'' he says
''okay well g-night sexy.'' she says and kisses him
''night baby.'' he says and kisses her back and turns off the light and lays down next to her rubing her back softly so she goes to sleep and falls asleep with her.
