Note: I do not own the Itex corporation, however I do own the characters and the relative plot.
I also apologize, because this is only my second fan fiction. I will try though, so review and let me know what you think and how I can improve.
And I promise I will actually continue this story.
December 21,1995
The screen lit up as scientists from some of the most powerful countries each turned on their conference screening. If you had spoke of an idea like this on that day, no one would have believed that technology of this scale existed. However, these scientists were working for the Itex Corporation and the rules of normalcy did not belong to them.
The screen was soon filled with faces, representing the countries of Italy, the United Kingdoms, Russia, France, Canada, China and then themselves. And they were all broadcasting for one reason. A female in a lab coat stepped forwards into the view of the cameras that was transporting her face across the world. "Today," She started. "We take one large step in the science of man and genetics. With the simple press of this button" She gestured to the screen, although no one could see where she was motioning they all knew just what it was. "The final strand of DNA will be planted in our projects, bringing life to our dreams." At this a smile spread across her painted red lips. A shade, that surprisingly did not clash with her auburn colored hair.
She nodded her head at the technicians, and across the world, Seven of some of the most powerful countries launched the Eta project. There was a pausing of breath and then simultaneous beeps started from each laboratory and a cheer broke out. Champagne bottles popped off, and glasses passed around. "Ladies, and gentleman. We have changed the future, and today's common warfare. Let us introduce the Eta project to the world." The slim woman said with a smile. Accepting the glass of champagne and strolled over to the glass case, "Oh, this has just begun. Now the hard part begins." She said solemnly. Inspecting the young child in the structure. Where human new borns cried, this one just opened her hazel eyes. Oh how correct the beautiful had been.
Building set a flame
At approximately 1 in the morning on December 22, 1995 the Itex head quarters caught fire and burned to the ground. Professionals are still contemplating on how this event occurred. Some are inspecting the theory of foul play.
There were 56 casualties out of the 200 that had been working there at the large facility last night. Considering how bad the fire was, this is a small number. But our thoughts go out to every member of the Itex community.

The man behind the paper smiled as he finished reading the article. He heard a cry and went over to the cradle. He slowly picked up the bundle and smiled down at the baby girl. "Your turn honey." He spoke to his competition, not the babe. But the hazel eyed child smiled up at the man. As if knowing exactly what her new foster father meant.
Just the prologue.
