AN: Random idea I got while taking a shower( I think that and bed is the birthplace of all good ideas :P)

Anywho, so it's got this huge love parallel-a-thingy in it. BWAHHAHAHA! Read to find out ;)

This is as if Syaoran never confessed, so…the Sealed Card and episode 70 never happened, I s'pose. This is after she confessed to Yuki, BTW, and after the battle with Eriol. But he didn't go back to England.

Disclaimer: CLAMP hasn't got my ransom note yet…sorry.

Chapter 1-A move is made. Finally. But not in the expected way at all.

Eriol was sick of this. No matter what he did, no matter how he guided young Syaoran Li, he was still unable to get the darn boy to make a move. His stupid darling little relative. He sighed. He was going to have to do this the hard way. He hated doing things the hard way.

He finished his sewing and took a deep breath. It wouldn't be so hard. Just use your powers of persuasion and charm.

He spotted her. Kinomoto Sakura. Master of the Sakura cards, master of Keroberos and Yue.

" Sakura," he called," May I speak with you?"

"Sure, Eriol," she replied with a grin.

" Sakura…" he said, as he looked out of the corner of his eye and spied Syaoran. Perfect. This ought to show that boy he would have to do something soon or risk losing the one he cared about. Eriol would make sure he would if he didn't. He handed her a teddy bear," I made this for you."

It went unspoken. The teddy bear legend. If someone makes a handmade teddy bear and gives it to someone they care about, and it is named after them, then the receiver will always return their feelings.

" Oh…Eriol.." she said.

" Are you..going to name it?"

" May I name it Eriol?" she asked.

" I would be delighted if you did," he replied with a smile.

Syaoran was shocked. How? Eriol…was..supposed to me…Kaho….but….why? This..couldn't..be….

Right now Syaoran wanted to stomp over there and scream his head of at his ancestor. But he didn't…he…was too shocked to move.

She excepted the teddy bear..which meant…

Syaoran couldn't take this. He sighed, still clutching his bear. Tomoyo had been right. He needed to own up to his feelings..and soon, or it would be too late.

And it was. Now.

All throughout the day Sakura and Eriol could be seen together. Syaoran was always watching from a distance, sighing, as Eriol would always flash him the look. That "I'm doing it for your own good" weird type smile-stare.

This couldn't be happening.

It could not be happening.

Why?

How?

The bell rang when school was over, and Syaoran began walking home alone.

" Li-kun!" Came a voice, as Syaoran turned to see who was calling him," Li-kun!"

It was Tomoyo, Sakura's best friend.

" Oh, it's you…" he muttered.

" Why do you look so sad?" She asked him.

" Hasn't Sakura told you yet?" he replied.

" Oh, that.." she said, looking down at the ground," I'm sorry, Li-kun. Still, something doesn't seem right. Eriol never showed that sort of liking for Sakura…more of…in a different way."

" Yeah, well I was right," Syaoran muttered, staring down at the ground, his hands in his pockets.

" Yes, it seems so.." Tomoyo muttered," I'm walking home with Tomoyo and Eriol, are you coming?"

" No.." he said," You go ahead with Sakura and her.."

" Oh, alright," she replied, running off.

Syaoran sat in the schoolyard, alone. Just him and his thoughts.
