Moonlit

AWWWOOOOOOOOOO! A loud howling spread through the night sky. The full moon glistening along with the stars shining. The little town below was quiet only a few cars were out, all lights off except the street lights. Twenty-Fourth Street was abnormally dark and a man was in the corner waiting, waiting for something. The man was tall with bright gold hair; he was wearing a large black jacket and a top hat. A black Mercedes drove by Twenty – Fourth Street stopping near the man. The man in the black jacket limped toward the car. The window slowly opened showing a woman, but it was too dark to see her clearly.

"Where is it? The man in the black jacket growled. "Where's my jewel?"

The woman in the car was silent, the crickets were chirping, but quietly but it soon ceased. They sensed the tense atmosphere in the air. The man in the black jacket started to grow impatient, showing his sharp fangs.

"I'll ask again, where is my jewel?" The man's voice started to rise as well as his eyes turning bloody red.

The woman finally started to reply, "Your assistance is no longer needed Mr. Grip, I'm afraid you will have to go." The woman started to get something from her bag.

"Oh, no, you promised us the jewel. Give it to me now!" At that, Mr. Grip started clawing at the car.

"BAM! BAM! BAM!"

Three silver bullets were shot at Mr. Grip. The man slowly fell down to the ground as the Mercedes drove away. When it was out of sight the man burst into flames.

Meanwhile in the car the woman chuckled to herself.

"Oh it's such a pity, but he was getting greedy."
