Mary Kate and Ashley hadn't blinked in half an hour. Instructor Sophie had trained in some of the most prestigious dancing academies in New York, and she had yet to see two pupils with such focus and poise. It flustered her. She had never made her inclination for herb a priority before, but she suddenly felt a deep longing for the green fog that had taken her mother and father from her.
"Life refuses to be simple." She muttered. "I must attend to the girls."
Sophie gracefully darted over to Ashley, who had twisted her ankle and was lying prostrate in the corner. "Is everything okay, Ashley? You seem to have pirouetted above your level."
"No! A lizard man came from behind that rock and munched on my ankle bones! I don't think I have any left!" Ashley yelled.
Sophie quickly shook her head back and forth in disbelief. "I haven't even Chief'd the Keef yet. How can I be hallucinating like that?" Sophie gathered her composure and assured Ashley that that there was no reptilian bone munchers about.
Ashley screamed. Sophie's head snapped back. Mary Kate was gone.
"Where is she?!" Sophie was really losing her shit.
"It's too late" Ashley whispered, skin puddling off her face. "We're going to the fucking moon."
Sophie gasped in disbelief as her legs buckled beneath her. Her skin had also begun to puddle and even slough off her bones, revealing a reality she had never conceived. A scaly, muscled member began to writhe between her legs. Or were they his legs now. She became he, human became lizard.
"GOD IS GREEN. GOD IS GREEN. GOD IS GREEN."
Voices chanted in unison, all coalescing into a deep dark mass. Sophie thrashed himself awake on a cold, stone surface. He tried to sit up but something thick and coarse restrained him.
Quickly, he began to notice that he was tied down to some sort of pagan altar in the middle of a lunar landscape. He tried to see who was making the noises – something about the green god. He eventually worked his head to an angle where he could make out a huddled mass of bony lizard men in full ballet garb hunched over a brightly colored book, reading their chants directly from the tome.
As he gazed over the crowd of greenmen, a shuddering cry of agony rose from his chest. There, deep in the center, Sophie's mother and father lay half eaten at the feet of the Green God.
"Instructor Sophie! Don't worry, you're doing really well for your first time!" Mary Kate tittered, reaching behind her golden, supple back. "Cliets will keep you trim and strong. And maybe even stiff!"
Sophie sobbed, his lizard member throbbing with passion. "Don't please-" As soon as he began, Mary Kate shoved a fistful of Xanax down Sophie's throat. Sophie spit bars left and right, but could not keep from swallowing some of Mary Kate's debilitating payload.
"That'll make you feel nice and calm for us. We love dancing with you, but your screams are just too much!"
"Gggurrgggnnnhhgngnggh," Sophie gurgled as he spit out the last of the bars.
Mary Kate and Ashley hovered over his scaly, lifeless body and began their work for the Green God.
