Chapter 1 of 15: Me and Pete challenge each other to a game of tennis
Note: This is in Gerry's point of view
It has been about 5 months since that race ended, and me and Pete are still getting along... It's weird, but I feel more like myself when he's around..and I feel a little more at ease. Pete looks at me and says, "Want to play a game of our favorite sport, tennis?" I smile and say, "You're on!" We both grab a racket and head towards the nearby tennis court, while we are, I look at Pete and blush...and think to myself, "After all this time..do I... love Pete?" Pete looks at me and says, "Am I seeing things, or are you blushing, Gerry?" I look at Pete and say, "Yeah...I'm blushing..." Later on, me and Pete are playing tennis, and the ball hits my head and when I look at Pete, I see hearts around him.. I thought that only happens if you're hit with Cupid's arrow... Pete says, "Serve it already, Gerry, come on! It's a game of tennis not a staring at the ball competition!"
