and so now our story begins...
Intro
It was two weeks before Hermione Granger was to head back to school. She had received her letter stating that she was Head Girl and was to report a week before school started.
Hermione had been excited for 3 reasons, 1) going back to school 2) seeing all her friends and 3) meeting her online friend!
During the summer she had met someone online…..
Flashback
One night she had gotten home from a party, and went straight to her computer. She logged onto MSN to see if she had any new mail, unfortunately there was none. Then something caught her eye, someone had added her and being the curious one she just had to accept.
Hermione then noticed that this person wasn't online, so she checked the person's profile.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Name: Dragon
"Dragon? Who calls themselves Dragon?"
She just brushed the thought off and read on.
The next day she was back on and noticed that he was online (A/N: it's kind of obvious that Dragon was a guy) so she started talking to him.
They chatted for hours on end, she felt like she had known him all her life.
It had been almost a month since there first conversation and he had told her that he was a wizard and knew who she was. At first she was kind of scared, but when he had told her a lot of the things that only someone from Hogwarts would only know, that was when she felt it safe to continue their relationship. If that's what they were calling it these days.
End of Flashback
It had been a week since they last spoke, he had told her he was going away for reasons unknown. She had been a bit sad about not talking to him for a long period of time; she had developed feelings for someone she hadn't met. Or so she thought……
After a week of packing and getting all she needed for the New Year. Hermione decided to send an e-mail to Dragon, he hadn't told her his real name yet.
Hey Dragon,
Well I'm heading back to school a week earlier, as u know I am the Head Girl and must report to the school a week earlier. I've missed you; I mean I've missed our conversations. It's been a week since we've last spoke and I'm just getting worried. You haven't even sent me a single e-mail. Well I'm not one to judge you…..
Hope we get to meet soon,
Hermione G.
She looked over what she had just typed out and having second thoughts about whether or not to send it to him
"Would he reply?"
"What if he doesn't want to talk to me any more?"
So many emotions washed over her, she hadn't felt this way about anyone except for Ron but that was in her 6th year.
Hermione had changed a lot during the summer; she wasn't the same Know-it-all Bookworm that everyone played her out to be. Sure she still cared about her school work, but she was a bit more laid back, but she didn't dare to show anyone.
Like everyone, Hermione kept herself in place. Made everyone think she was still the same girl from their first year at Hogwarts.
This year was going to be different. She found new confidents, with the help of her new friend. He had thought her so many things those past couple of weeks.
As she grabbed her trunk and headed down stairs, her thoughts drifted to one person. She couldn't wait till the day that she would finally get to meet the person that had changed her and many more ways then one.
