AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is my first Fanfic, so I'm not the best narrator. I'm considering this an introduction, because this chapter is very short and terse, lacks dialog, and the story hasn't really lifted off yet.

It was another usual day at Hollywood Arts. It was lunchtime, and Tori, Andre, Robbie, Rex, and Cat were sitting at their usual table. Beck and Jade weren't there yet. Everybody sitting at the table was peacefully eating their lunch and making friendly conversation. The peaceful atmosphere was disrupted when the sound of two people, who sounded like Beck and Jade, were arguing and was gradually getting louder when they were getting closer to the table.

"...Break up with me? Why do you want to break up with me?" Jade demanded.

"I'm sorry about this Jade, but you're always jealous when other girls talk to me, your attitude really sucks most of the time, and I can't be in a relationship if the other person doesn't trust me and won't let me talk to any girls," Beck answered in an apologetic tone.

"Is this about that incident with the cheerleader next door?"

Beck sighed. "It's not just that, Jade," he said in a more quiet tone. "Sorry, but we're done."

Jade's face turned into a bright red, and her chin whobbled ever so slightly. "Beck, I love you. We've been together for more than a year."

Beck just shook his head and didn't say anything. Jade gasped, appaled and surprised, when he didn't reply. "Fine! If you don't have anything to say then you're not worth it!" She shouted, turned around, then briskly walked back into the school, shoving anybody in her way out of her way.

There was an awkward silence between the group as Beck calmly took a seat at the table.

"That was. . . a pretty harsh breakup," Andre, the most sympathetic and understanding person out of the whole group, said, breaking the silence. "Are you okay?"

Beck's usual calm and relaxed exterior didn't seem to be changed after his and Jade's scene. "Yeah. Jade, on the other hand, seems to be the person not taking it too well."

Everybody nervously chuckled. They feared that they would keep bickering for the next couple of days, when they had no choice but to silently witness everything. They also feared that Jade would take her anger out on them, and feel her wrath more than usual. They also thought that Beck and Jade might just get back together after awhile, like what happened the last time they broke up.

Throughout the day, everybody's fears were confirmed when Jade did act more mean and nasty than she usually did. There was another loud scene in the hallway after school when Jade tried to win Beck back. Beck stood firmly on the fact that they were done.

Beck broke it off with Jade because, as he said, she got jealous really easy, and kept him on a very short leash when it came to other girls. And when Jade was in her usual hateful and careless mood, he acted like it didn't matter to him, when honestly, it got to him just as much as it did to everybody else. He never wanted to say anything, because Jade was his girlfriend, and he also didn't want Jade giving him hell about it.

But deep down, there was one more reason. One reason that he tried to deny, but to no avail. A reason he never dared to tell anybody.

He was truly interested in somebody else. . .

Sorry about the bad ending and cheesy cliffy! But the faster I get reviews on this, the faster I'll update! I already know what I'm going to write for the next chapter. Please click that review button everybody loves and leave CONSTRUCTIVE criticism so this story can be at its full potential! I also apologize for the lack of dialog, but I didn't want to turn it into rambling that doesn't have any meaning in the story whatsoever. Suggestions are also appreciated.
