A Night in the Secret Spot
*A Kingdom Hearts II Fanfic*
Sora and Kairi walked alone on the beach of Destiny Islands, in the early evening. Sora was holding Kairis hand tight as they walked down the stretch of sand. Sora looked at Kairi, who smiled back.
"Sora…It's been so long since the Heartless came here and destroyed the Island." said Kairi.
"Yeah…then I had to leave you here…" replied Sora
"You had to save the world! Though you didn't have to take a year's time!" exclaimed Kairi.
"A year?! Isn't that the time of which you all forgot who I was?" Sora asked coyly.
"….You know that wasn't our fault…" Kairi said.
"I know…" said Sora.
Sora and Kairi soon came up to the Secret Spot.
The Secret Spot was a hidden cave in the middle of the island, but the entrance was hidden by tree branches.
Inside, there were many drawings of things, one of which was Sora and Kairi sharing a Paopu Fruit.
"It's so nice in here." said Kairi.
"Yeah…I remember drawing so much stuff in here…."
"Like this one?" asked Kairi.
Kairi pointed to the one of her and Sora sharing a Paopu.
"Uh…yes." replied Sora, embarrassed.
"…That's very sweet of you." said Kairi.
Kairi turned and faced Sora, and leaned in close to him.
Sora placed his arms around her waist, gently.
"Kairi…I've wanted to tell you…." began Sora.
"What is it Sora?" asked Kairi.
"…I love you…" Sora finished.
"Oh…I love you to Sora…so much…." Kairi said softly.
Sora pulled Kairi tightly in the embrace, and kissed her.
Kairis eyes went wide, but she gently closed them, and kissed Sora back. After a while, they pulled apart.
"Kairi, I'm sorry I left you here…. I had to finish Ansem off…I…" Sora started.
Kairi gently kissed his lips.
"Sora, its ok….don't worry, I'm not angry." Kairi assured him.
Kairi and Sora stayed in the Secret Spot, until morning.
Sora told Kairi of his adventures, and Kairi told Sora what he had missed on the islands.
