Imperfect
"'Lo, Colin."
"Hullo," he replied nervously, trying to cover his work with his hands. "Cho."
"What's that you've got there?" she asked, swinging her black hair behind one ear. The cloud of suddenly released floral scent drowned him.
"Nothing!" He tried to shove the photo into his bag, but she effortlessly fished it away from him with two long fingers. Contempt and pride warred within him as her laughter stopped at the sight of his handiwork. The flush faded.
"Why, Colin- this's only my eyes. Where..." Her voice had acquired a shrill edge he detested. "Where's the rest of me?"
