President Diana sighed as she flicked through the second of the two binders on her desk. Before her, she was presented with the flurry of images, blueprints, and sketches of various mutts, plants and Arena designs. At the back, in a glossy, laminate covering was a quick survey conducted to find out how the general public would react to such an Arena. Just like the first one, only the content was different yet both were well received. With a sigh, Diana placed the folder down, next to its counterpart and looked up at the two Gamemakers in the room.

"Why do I have two Arena designs...are we forgetting these are a single annual event?" The Gamemakers looked at each other. In the end, it was Wren, a yellowed, coily haired girl with a dark skin tone and a frightened look in her eye that spoke.

"Me and Frenk were not able to agree on an overall design-"

"So we presented you with two...so you could decide," the well built, tall, the blue-haired man said, his voice deep and strong.

Diana narrowed her eyes at the pair. "That is not my job...but if I was to pick, the other would agree to follow the others orders from then on...losing their joint position as Head Gamemaker?"

Wren let out a little squeak. "But we were assured our jobs were stable-"

"Well, you clearly can't do your jobs if you are asking me for help!" the middle-aged woman growled, looking at the young woman. "Now, you have clearly proven that both your egos have become incredibly inflated, instead of compromising, you both went off and created your own work...it is for the best this happens...do the two of you have any worries about this?" The pair sighed, looking over to each other and rather defeated, shook their head. "Then it is decided...I will let the pair of you know by the morning whos Arena plans I have picked...you are dismissed."

With a slow shuffle, the pair left the room, their heads hung low and their literal tails between their legs. Diana felt no sympathy for siblings as they left, their actions stoking a fire inside that was close to exploding. At first, the duo had graduated as a partnership at the top of the academy. They worked well together for the first five years, then the fame must have gotten to their heads. Every year, more and more fights broke out between the two, dividing the rest of the Gamemakers. This year had clearly been the final straw, the pair believing in their own individual ideas so much that they were willing to risk their status to have theirs put forward.

With a groan, Diana looked through the two binders again, taking in all the information and weighing the issues that may arise. Wren's Arena was flooded with mutts of all different kinds yet the landscape was generic. Fenk on the other hand severely lacked mutts but his Arena was nothing like Diana had ever seen before. Both groundbreaking Arenas but only one could be chosen for this year's Games.

So with a sigh, Diana leaned back in her chair, closed her eyes and started to envision the Arena she would pick.

Will Diana Pick

Frenk's Idea: New Arena Idea, No Mutts

Or

Wren's Idea: Generic Arena, Lots Of Mutts

How these Games work. Throughout the story, you will be presented with a list of questions. These questions will decide the story but you won't get the full picture. For example, you are presented with two paths but the Arena is not listed and how it affects the story is not either. It's all luck and fate.

As the story goes on, you will be presented with questions that could change the plot completely, should this character join an Alliance, should they stay in their position or move, should they kill this person or let them go?

You, the readers will vote on which option you want (I already know what will happen with each option). When the option takes effect (say you vote for a character to let another Tribute go only for that Tribute to kill them instead) I will tell you what the outcome would have been if the other option was chosen. You can vote in PM or Reviews, whatever you want.

I am only accepting 12 characters, one from each District as I don't want to get overwhelmed. Reviews are accepted, however, will not be posted so if you are a guest, watch the profile to know if I got your character.

The next thing depends on how many submissions I get. If I get more than one character for a District, I will allow readers to decide which is chosen. All submitted will be shown in the story but only one will be reaped/volunteer. This gives the readers even more choice and means if someone submits 5 characters while others submit three, it means everyone has a fair chance of getting in.

The list is on my profile and so is the form and be sure to vote which choice you want to see for the Arena!
