AN: Well, I wanted to have a shot at this. Because the scene was just so completely adorable I couldn't not. I didn't think I could love The Ponds more, but then Let's Kill Hitler happened. Anyway, I hope you like this. Enjoy!

Please let me know what you think:-)

She thought he was gay. Gay!

Rory stomped away from the house, his cheeks burning in embarrassment as he tried to force his legs to move faster. He could hear her voice from behind him, Oh my God, Rory! Rory! Come back! But he tried to ignore that. He didn't want her pity. Stupid Mels, why did she have to say anything? He was perfectly fine with how things were.

Well, he wasn't, not really. He hated being the man that she never dreamed of or told people stories about. He hated being her 'favourite guy' when he knew that if The Doctor actually ever appeared from wherever he comes from he would take that position in her life. He hated never feeling good enough for Amy Pond.

Because she's beautiful and brilliant and bossy.

While he's just... Rory, her 'gay' best friend.

''Rory!'' Amy shouted, her long legs giving her an advantage as she ran down the street, chasing after him. ''Rory...'' she panted. ''Please, just stop!''

''Just leave it, Amy.''

''No!'' she grabbed his arm and turned him around, almost causing him to stumble. She didn't seem fazed by that. ''Is it me? Is that why you've never had interest in anyone else... because you like me?''

His heart hammered in his chest, echoing in his ears. Rory looked down to the floor. ''It doesn't matter.''

'''Course it matters!''

''Why?''

''Because the guy I've fancied for ages might not actually be gay and, I don't know, like me too!''

Rory's mouth opened and closed like a goldfish. W-wait, what did she just say? ''Did... Did you just say you like me?''

''I thought it was obvious, stupid.'' she grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest in that way that she does.

He laughed in complete disbelief. All those times she never found him in hide and seek and abandoned him in the playground never really made it very clear. ''It really wasn't.''

''So... you do then?'' Amy asked warily, eying him curiously.

''Yeah,'' He smiled, removing one of her hands from across her chest and holding onto it gently, inching closer towards her cautiously.

Amy closed the distance between them as she pressed her lips onto his gently, removing her hand from his and wrapping both around his neck. After getting over the shock and abnormality of the situation, he slid her arms around her waist, kissing her back.

She leaned her forehead against his, slightly breathless. ''Does this mean I've got you now?''

He didn't say anything; he just kissed her again, silently responding.

You always have.
