"Ginny, my head hurts and my heart aches and all you can do is think about Draco" Hermione said staring at her best friend

"Sorry, he's so damn hot" Ginny replied "Anyway, it's not my fault you caught Severus snogging another woman"

"Yes but it doesn't help that the woman happened to be our Transfiguration Teacher, Professor McGonagall" Hermione answered. The picture swam through her mind, she remembered Severus's last words 'I couldn't help it, she made me do it.' Hermione had yelled back 'How can you say that, Professor McGonagall is not as mean as you, she would never do anything like that'

Tears dropped down her face as her heart sank lower. Ginny walked over to her and put her arm round Hermione.

"Get over it! Severus wasn't the only one that wanted you, I have been watching Cedric for a while and he's got his eye on you" Ginny half-smiled

"But, Severus is the only one I want" Hermione cried

"Gosh, we need to get you a boyfriend. FAST!" Ginny yelled dragging Hermione out of the door towards the Great Hall.

Cedric was sitting on a bench to the side of the hall

"Stay here" whispered Ginny "I'm gonna ask Cedric out for you"

Hermione didn't object. As Ginny went over to Cedric, Hermione got up and walked out of the door and towards McGonagall's office.

"Sugar Quills" Hermione spoke to the gargoyles

"Who is it" McGonagall called

"Hermione" she answered

"I didn't mean to, I was the one that kissed Severus" McGonagall said in one mouthful

"You what" Hermione yelled

"Professor McGonagall, have you seen Hermione" called Ginny

"I'm right here, listening to the story of Severus & McGonagall" replied Hermione

"That's good, Cedric said no" Ginny said

"How do you know?" Hermione asked "About Snape and I?"

"I heard you halfway down the corridor" Ginny answered, laughing

"Stay here Gin, I'll be right back" Hermione said and jogged towards Snape's private rooms.

Hermione knocked on Snape's door.

Snape opened the door and said "What do you want"

"I'm here to say, I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry too"

Snape wrapped his arms round Hermione and she did the same.

"I love you, Sev"
"I love you too, 'mione"

She stood up on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips.
