Well poetry isn't exactly my thing, but if figured I should try something new. This is also my first fanfiction that isn't a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction. So good for me :3
Anyway, this takes place right after the episode Doomsday and is about Rose. Enjoy :)
I never thought
We could be so close
Yet so far,
Only a wall apart
But unable to touch.
I yearned.
I reached.
I learned
How fast we could go
From being unbreakable
To quickly fading.
For months
I mourned.
Choking on smoke,
But unable to burn.
Unable to breath,
But not yet drowning.
I lost you.
Not like a child loses a favorite toy,
Or a man loses his temper.
But like
A Rose
Loses its pedals.
But you are my Doctor
You mend me
So my pedals will never fall
So my color never fades
So that I can never die.
With you here
I am
the Unwithering Rose.
But without you here,
A dimension away,
I am lost.
I am no longer immortal,
But am unable to die.
