Draco and Hermione Malfoy were scouting schools for the soon-to-be eleven-year-old child, Scorpius. They both leaned toward letting Scorpius go to Hogwarts, like they did in their youth, but Scorpius wanted to visit each school before deciding on the best.

In the ways Scorpius looked like a carbon-copy of Draco, his mind was like Hermione's, huge, uninhibited, and eager to learn and devour every book passed his way. He was also immensely mature and independent for his age.

Today, they were set to arrive at Beauxbaton's, the second school on their list. They previously visited Durmstrang last week, and they all agreed it was for the best that he not attend there. Arriving at the front gates, they were welcomed by their Headmistress Madame Maxime. Heading up the short walkway to the front of the school, they all looked up in awe at the beautiful French château that was the school. The building was large, thin, and wide, with two thick towers on each side. In the front and back of the school were multiple courtyards, each sporting a glorious fountain and exquisite gardens.

With the adults exchanging pleasantries, and history of the school, Scorpius took a look around him and slowly wandered off to the grand courtyard in front of the main doors. Here, there was a large white with gold trim fountain with an iridescent, creamy white liquid sputtering out of the several column jets, placed around the bottom tier, with two smaller tiers raised up in the center.

Reaching his hand out to touch the beautiful cream that was frothing at the edges, he felt the liquid glaze over his fingers and a sense of calm and contentment wash over him.

"Scorpius! What did I tell you about not putting your hands in potions unless knowing 100 percent what they were? Sorry, Madame Maxim, I mean no disrespect here, but he must learn not to trust everything in the Wizarding world!" Said Draco.

"It iz no problum my dear, zis fountain iz ze safezt fountain your Scorpius could touch. It iz the memoire to Nicolas and Perrenelle Flamel, it countainz healing properties." Madame Maxim explained.

"Oh, this is the famous fountain isn't it? It contains healing and beautifying agents, and rumour's that it is the fountain of youth! Oh, I was hoping to at least see the fountain while we were here! But, excuse me, Madame, I thought it was in the middle of the courtyard?" Exclaimed Hermione excitedly.

"It iz, we have ze gardens completely zurrounding the school, and it is right in the middle, greeting our studentz and guestz with their coming's and going'z."

Sharing one last whimsical look around the front of the school garden's and the fountain they headed inside to view the inside of the school.

While Scorpius like both Beauxbaton's and Hogwart's, he ended up deciding on going to the school that both of his parents attended. And while he hoped that he did have some wonderful adventures during his seven years of schooling to come, he hoped that none of them centered around a murderous, bigoted madman and his quest for power.
