Chapter One
'Damn it,' Inuyasha thought to himself as he sat beside the Bone-Eater's Well. 'Where's Kagome? She was supposed to be here three days ago!'
Sango, Miroku, and Shippo were all watching from some nearby bushes. They had already tried to convince him to go get Kagome but he told them to butt out.
Inuyasha finally rose to his feet and sighed. He scanned the area and he almost saw Miroku's head but Sango quickly pushed it into the ground. When she was sure that Inuyasha's head had turned, she released Miroku's head.
"WHAT WAS-,"Miroku screamed at Sango. Sango slapped her hand over his mouth before he could go on.
"Shhh," she whispered into his ear, "What if Inu-," but she couldn't go any further. He was standing right there.
"What are you three doing here?" Inuyasha questioned them with a bit of annoyance in his voice. He was annoyed because now he couldn't go get Kagome.
"Uhhh, we weren't spying on you, if that's what you were thinking," Miroku said. But the moment the words left his mouth, even Shippo knew they were in deep trouble.
"So THAT'S what you guys were doin'. In that case," as Inuyasha said this he rose to his feet, cracking his hands and grinning, "I'm gonna have to kill you!"
He pretended to lunge at them. Sango picked up Shippo and Hiraikotsu and ran away screaming. Miroku had left long before without Inuyasha noticing.
'Hah,' he thought, 'Now I can go and get Kagome!'
At this, he ran to the well and jumped in. The familiar tingling sensation passed over his body. He was now in Kagome's time.
