Live for a Moment
No one has ever captured a moment in full
Not in photography, film, writing, or any other art form
Parts of a moment have been shown, but never the full, real, riveting thing
Never has an artist, no matter what their art form, singed all senses
You have been able to see, smell, and taste, a moment
But never, has something made all of your senses run wild
Never do you truly experience something from a picture, a play, or a story
So, the only way to feel, truly feel, a moment is to experience it for yourself.
This poem is a reminder to everyone in America to get off their butts and go see the world. You have a life to live, take advantage of it, and see the real thing. You'll never see the utter beauty of the Grand Canyon, or the majesty of the Eiffel Tower, or feel the ocean splash at your feet, from a video, so go feel for yourself.
