Sooo… here's my first attempt at a SasuSaku story! Hahaha! This is a very short one, and AU-ish? For any grammatical errors, please do forgive me and kindly inform me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Pant. Pant. Pant.
Five-year old Sakura tightened her arms around the plastic jar on her chest, trying to balance herself while she ran as fast as her pudgy legs could, not even bothering to hide the wide excited grin on her quite chubby face.
It was a miracle that she didn't trip, for her eyes were settled on the boy with remarkable spiky inky hair, comfortably sitting on the grass under a tree. Just the thought of seeing the boy made her smile wider and giggle.
The grass rustled in protest the same time she stopped next to the boy and kneeled. Even without the boy removing his gaze from the book on his lap, little Sakura knew the other had noticed her presence. She took a deep breath.
"Sasuke-kun," Sakura called the raven-haired sweetly.
Sasuke-kun finally stopped reading, and then bored onyx eyes met her bright emerald ones.
She pulled the jar full of cookies from her chest, extending her arms towards the emotionless boy. "Look, Iruka-sensei gave me this as a reward! I'll share it with you, and only yooouu!"
But Sasuke-kun brought his attention back to his book. "Hn. I don't like sweets."
Sakura wasn't offended. Instead, "Can I get a kiss, then?"
"No." Sasuke-kun's response was abrupt and precise, as usual.
Apparently, little Sakura knew nothing of the term 'give up.' It was not the first time she asked lovely Sasuke-kun for a kiss. She had been doing it for a month after her mum told her that when someone loves you, they should show it by giving you a kiss. She loves Sasuke-kun, and she knows Sasuke-kun also loves her. Since Sakura is a lady, she shouldn't be making the first move, while Sasuke-kun should.
Besides, it would be nice to see Ino pig's ugly shocked face once it finally happens.
So she used every opportunity on getting her first kiss from her prince charming.
"Sasuke-kun, I got the highest score in Math! Can I get a kiss?"
"No."
"Sasuke-kun, Iruka-sensei said I have good chakra control! Can I get a kiss?"
"No."
"Sasuke-kun, I brought you tomato! Can I get a kiss?"
"Thanks. And no."
Sasuke-kun's reply was always the same, but it wouldn't let dear Sakura down.
Sakura grabbed a piece of paper and a box of crayons for her afternoon habit. She headed to her favorite table—the one where she could see Sasuke-kun under the tree—and began doodling on the paper, her green eyes wide in concentration and excitement.
She just knew that when Sasuke-kun sees it, he will definitely give her what she wanted.
Sakura fell asleep.
He approached the table and quietly sat next to her slumped form. Its either he's stealthy or Sakura is just a heavy sleeper. For him, it's both.
The short arms of the pink-haired were folded on the table, and the side of her head was perched on them. He smiled a little seeing her cute pink lips move a bit, mumbling something incoherent.
He carefully pulled out the paper under Sakura's arms, constantly checking to see if it had woke her up; thankfully, not.
If anyone were to see him that moment, they will be amazed as to how genuine his smile was. Because he never smiles that way. Even the dobe will be speechless. Then again, it is Sakura. He does weird things when it comes to Sakura.
In the paper was a drawing of a black-haired boy wearing blue shirt that looked oddly similar to what he's wearing, and a pink-haired girl wearing a red one. The blue guy was kissing the red girl's forehead, and under the two stick figures were Sakura's messy handwriting.
Sasuke-kun loves loves loves Sakura-chan!
His lips formed a boyish smirk as he neatly folded the paper, and put it in his pocket.
He stared at the sleeping face of the innocent rosette for a while, before leaning down and giving her infamous broad forehead a light kiss.
It didn't wake Sakura up, as usual.
