Avox was usually a rather shy person but after Prim had begged her for a whole week to come with her to the Saturday night party she finally gave in. She knew (as prim had repeatedly told her) that Prim was not allowed to go to the party if she didn't bring someone else along. Katniss was very protective about her little sister and all and everyone knew that she would never forgive anyone who let anything bad happened to her little Primrose. Therefore had Avox tried to not let Prim out of her sight. It had worked for a full five minutes, then was Prim gone and was nowhere to be found. When Avox found her leaving the party together with Wiress was she beyond furious. Katniss might have been tempted to threaten Wiress, but the poor Wiress was up for a surprise in the form of one vengeful Avox girl.
