Draco enters his apartment and drops his keys in the bowl on the antique french table in the entryway and smirks to himself as he listens to his girlfriend singing to herself in the kitchen.

A little know fact about the youngest Weasley, is that her voice has that raspy old world quality that muggles of the 20s and 30s seemed to love so much. And a fact that absolutely no one knew, was that it was this voice that first drew him to her back in their seventh year at Hogwarts.

As he walked into the hallway, he relived all of the moments of their relationship. From how he approached her that first day in library when she was singing softly to herself and she turned red with embarrassment, to their first kiss in the snowy streets of Hogsmeade. His first Weasley dinner to now, what he hoped would be the best day of his life so far.

As his thoughts progressed, his hand wandered subconsciously to the pocket where the ring sat waiting. He smirked again at the thought of his mother, who among hearing his plans, disapparated on the spot leaving a weepy Molly Weasley to coddle Draco while they waited. He remembered how upon his mother's return, she kissed him on the cheek then slipped her grandmother's ring into his suit pocket and pushed him out the door.

Upon reaching the kitchen, he slipped up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"You know what your voice does to me darling," he purred into her ear. She grinned and leaned back into him. Turning into his arms, she kissed him earnestly.

"I didn't hear you come in, dinner will be ready soon. Go relax and let me take care of my amazing boyfriend tonight." She said into his ear before turing and attending to the stove.

"I'd prefer it if you took care of your fiance." He responded and dropped to one knee.

Ginny stood stricken at the stove, before turning sharply on her heel and staring at Draco. "What?"

"Ginevra, you are simply the best thing in my life. You make me a better person and I want to spend the rest of our life worshipping you. Marry me. Please." Ginny smiled weakly as tears ran down her cheeks. She fell gracefully into his arms giggling as he pressed kisses into her hair.

The couple remained intertwined simply swaying in a slow dance to music that only they could hear. Whispering sweet nothings to each other for the rest of the night.
