Song: "You Say It Best When You Say Nothing At All" by Alison Krauss. I love this song! It's a country song, but it is such an inspirational song. I couldn't help but think of Katara and Zuko when I heard tis song for the first time.

Set after Katara begins to trust Zuko, because obviously this would not happen if she still hated his guts.

The moon shone fully down on the two people left sitting around the unlit campfire. Their faces were lit by the faint light of the full moon above, slightly obscured by a few wispy clouds. Silence had overcome them after the departure of their livelier and younger friends.

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark

The dark-skinned girl took a retreating glance at her pale-skinned companion. He did the same to her and saw a slight shiver crawl its way up her spine. With one swift, fluid motion the fire was re-lit. The girl tore her eyes from the moon to glance hesitantly at the firebender beside her.

Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

She tried to speak, but no words came to her mind. Not even a thanks was needed for her eyes said it all.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

And his smile gave her a warm hearted 'your welcome'. He moved closer to her, hesitantly at first, and took her small hand in his slender fingers. He gave her hand a comforting squeeze and she only smiles; no words were needed to express what they both felt.

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine

In the girl's mind, a picture of her younger friend flashed. His loud ways and big smile compared to the firebender's quiet nature and tender smile were obnoxious. The thought made her smile. He pulled her close and placed his warm arm along her shoulders. She moved closer and rested her cheek against his chest with a pleased sigh. He leaned in a lay his own warm cheek against the top of her head.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

After countless minute which seemed to last an eternity, he leaned down towards her. She sat up and stared into his honey-gold eyes while he stared back into her cerulean blue orbs. They lost each other until he slowly leaned in, hiding his golden orbs behind his lids.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

The kiss only lasted one moment, but the moment was remembered forever. The way they sat back, breathless, and neither could find words was unforgettable. The way she tried to speak, but was shushed gently by a warm finger placed delicately against her cool lips.

Words could not describe their feelings; because they both spoke their feelings better when no words were used.
