I do not own the rights of the DBZ series. I just have grown to like the animation when I started watching it at Toonami with my husband who is a huge fan. I realized how effective DBZ is to connect with its viewers emotionally especially the Goku and Chichi pairing.

I like to try my knack on a Songfic. I hope you guys would like it.

Hi I'm Goku!

I like to tell you how much I love my wife! I hope you guys enjoy!

It's been years since the last time I saw her. The pretty and shy girl who rode with me on my flying nimbus when we were looking for the bansho fan, to extinguish the fire surrounding the Ox King's castle.

Now for the first time I laid my eyes on her, while we were fighting inside the ring at the 23rd Martial Arts tournament, I couldn't deny that I felt something stirred in my heart though I wasn't quite sure what it meant because I never knew what it means to fall in love. After all, I've spent half of my life embarking on finding the dragon balls and subduing villains here and there. On top of that I paid too much attention to my rigorous training with Master Roshi and Mister Popo at Kami's place. It is safe to assume that those of you who followed my life since childhood would understand me completely. But then there is something about her that pulled me close. I realized it when she finally said her name is Chichi; everything came back to me like a rushing wind.

I understand now that though we've been apart for like a thousand years and I had no idea what bride meant, she is the one my heart longs for. Time has brought her heart to me and no matter how long we spent time apart, we will find each other.

Everytime I fight against evil who are obsessed to dominate the world, it's like I die everyday. I was able to withstand the pain and the anguish. There was even one time when I almost gave in when I fought Piccolo junior. Now I will tell the world why I was determined to win when I fought Piccolo Jr. it was not only to save the earth. I've done it for Chichi too. I promised that I am going to marry and build my life with her. I intended to keep it not allowing anything to take the beauty away who is standing right in front of me.

Chichi and I have weathered the storms in our marriage that even death couldn't keep us apart.

After 7 years of being away from earth since the Cell games, I am back to compete at the newly revamped World Martial Arts tournament. That is the best way to bond with my son Gohan and of course to see Chichi all over again. If only fortuneteller Bubba could extend my stay on earth so that I can spend more time with Chichi and the rest of my family especially that I got to meet our youngest son Goten.

Chichi is still the most beautiful woman. That's why I couldn't keep my eyes off upon seeing her and said I missed her. I believe I have loved her for a thousand years and I'll love her a thousand more.

I love Chichi very much! Though you see me going away to engage in a new undertaking, she and I will always find a way back into each other. And if my life will be taken away from me again, with King Kai's and fortune teller Bubba's help, I can comeback to life and be with my Chichi.
