"I'm at the airport and almost at Dan's place, mum, don't worry." She worried so much for me. It wasn't like I was meeting Dan for the first time. He was my brother. I had known him my whole life. I probably would've been okay with mum saying she was worried that I would get lost in a less familiar town, but I had to travel all the time. I was an actor for God's sake.

I sighed, said goodbye, then hung up. Swiping left, I did some cheeky flappy birding while the taxi drove up in front of Dan and Phil's building. I payed the cabbie, then ran up the several flights of stairs to the top floor where the two best friends lived. I was let in by Phil, who greeted me with a hug.

I was only dropping my things off, as I was heading into town with some of my friends to get a coffee.

I scanned myself in the bathroom mirror. My brown hobbit hair was a mess, and my eyeliner had shifted south, along with the rest of my eye makeup, making it look like I was crying demonic tears from my bottle gren eyes. I sighed, but managed to fix it, then sped out the apartment.

"Hey," I called out to Maisie, who was sittinf at a atble in front of Starbucks. She had already ordered my favourite drink. I sat down across from her, and we spent the first few minutes catching up on our lives. eventually we decided to browse some of the nerdiest shops we could find. As we were in an amazing store called Orcs' Nest, we ran into fans and my mobile rang. It was Dan.

"Not now, I'm in town with some friends."

"It's urgent." I sighed.

"You better not have got your head stuck in a toilet again. I'm not pulling you out." I could hear him laugh slightly.

"Oh, Emma," he said, "if only it was that simple." I could feel my heart rate picking up. What did he do? Dan always called me 'Em' unless he was being serious. There was no way what he was about to tell me was good.

"Dan, what did you do?" There was a pause. "Dan..."

"I- erm- I kinda burnt down my building." I didn't answer. I just walked outside. Maisie was calling my name.

"Emma?" she asked, "What's wrong?" I told her, and she clpped a hand on her mouth.

"Who're you talking to?" Dan asked me. I put my mobile back against my ear and answered.

"Maisie," I said.

"What, as in Maisie Williams, aka Arya Stark in Game of Thrones?"

"Yes," I said. "That's not important. What happened?"

"Well, I was trying to light some candles but the buzzer rang so I answered it and it all happened quite fast-"

"DANIEL JAMES HOWELL," I said, cutting him off, "You are acting really calm about this whole thing."

There was silence. "Dan, is this a prank?"

There was an outburst of laughter, and I shook my head. Sometimes I wondered how I was the younger one.

"Yes," he said in gasps, "It was for a video. Louise is here too. It was her idea!"

"It was not!" Louise yelled. I laughed.

"I was genuinely worried you fucking twat!" I said, relief evident in my voice.

"Sorry," said Dan, "I love you!"

"I love you too."

Dan hung up, and I smirked at Maisie, who had heard he whole conversation.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I asked her.

"Definitely," she said.

Maisie and I crept up behind Dan and Louise who were talking to someone else, and we carefully made sure they couldn't see us in the camera. Then we threw the bucket of water over their heads. Even though we knew we would have to clean up the mess, our revenge was great. We laughed at the expressions on their faces.

"That's what you get for pranking me," I said.

"I should've known you wouldn't give up," said Dan. I laughed again. I would never let Dan live this moment down. I would start by making him keep the footage in his video.
