Hola mis amigos, i never write anymore but for some reason i felt like typing this short little beauty! so enjoooyyyy.

"Hi, Clove..."

It had been exactly five years since the dreadful day in the arena. Five years since the lovely Clove lost her life battling a girl who was destined to win a deadly game. But didn't. After Clove was killed by Thresh, Cato decided that he had to win. For her. So he did.

Now he stood in front of the old tree. Next to the big oak tree that dangled it's leafy branches directly over the patch to provide shade and shelter. This had been their spot growing up. And considering the fact that her parents were too disappointed that she didn't provide them with the victory they so desired to give her a proper grave or funeral, this is what he made her grave.

"It's been a long time since you left..."

The minute he heard her call out for him, he dropped everything and sprinted straight to the Cornacopia. (A/N: I can't seem to remember how to spell it, but you know what i mean. I hope..) His adrenaline pulsed through his veins and he could feel his heartbeat pounding in his ears. He had to get there now. He couldn't let her down.

"I still can't believe you're gone."

It took him only a few moments to realize that she was gone, and that he had to avenge her death. First thing on his list, destroy Thresh.

"It really should have been me."

He easily won the games, with his training and intense motivation. And after that, he had the time to grieve. And it took him what seemed like a thousand years to finally accept her death.

"I miss you so much..."

Every day since then was a struggle. A struggle to find any reason to be alive without her with him. All he wanted was to join her in the afterlife. But he knew she wouldn't want him to give up so easily.

"You know you deserve to be here more than I, or anyone else, do."

Clove was honestly the most amazing person he had ever met. She wasn't perfect, nobody was. She had a temper, a quick tongue, she could be extremely violent, and she certainly had many other quirks. But above all that, she was the most beautiful person he'd ever seen, she was the smartest, funniest, and the most talented person he'd ever met.

"I love you so much, I always will."

She was the only girl he'd ever looked twice at. The only girl he'd ever taken the time to get to know. The only girl he'd ever loved. And the only girl brave enough to stick around long enough for him to love her.

"I could never forget you, no one could, even if they tried. You always had a special way of sneaking your way into peoples hearts. I just want you to know, that for the rest of my life, I could never find anyone to replace you. Your one of a kind, Clover."

He let out a soft laugh, "You always hated that nickname, didn't you?"

He smiled up at the sky, "Well it doesn't matter, your name is beautiful either way."

"You knew I was only messing with you all those years I called you that, and worse."

"I love you way too much to ever actually hurt you intentionally."

"You are the best person I've ever known. And even though our time together was short, it was the best time of my life. Nothing could ever change that."

"I love you, Clove..."
